Alarm

August 13 2009, around 1655Hr at the company cyanide alarm war trigger on.Every one is requested to evacuate there work places.The reported alarm is 10ppm it came from phase 3 near at our section(TRCF).
Inhalation of cyanide gas is very lethal to a human being as will to animal.It can cause death to a person.
After hypocloride detoxification in the area affected it is announce that the work place is already safe.


WHAT IS CYANIDE?
A cyanide is any chemical compound that contains the cyano group (C≡N), which consists of a carbon atom triple-bonded to a nitrogen atom. Inorganic cyanides are hydrogen cyanide salts in which cyanide is generally the anion CN- bonded to an alkyl residue are called . Organic compounds that have a -C≡N functional groupnitriles in IUPAC nomenclature. The cyanide radical CN is commonly produced in reactions and has been identified in interstellar space. Of the many kinds of cyanide compounds, some are gases; others are solids or liquids. Those that can release the cyanide ion CN- are highly toxic to people and wildlife at relatively low concentrations.
